Color differences

Due to the 3D printing process used, there will always be a difference in colour between the different containers; this is unavoidable. For each train, two containers are printed together, whereby the orientation of both containers is reversed.

To minimize this, the trains are printed in pairs. This allows complete sets to be delivered with the same roof color, namely a light and a dark version.

In addition, it can happen that colours sometimes run into each other somewhat. This problem is especially visible with the yellow colour, because it covers less well than other colours. In the photo below, this is clearly visible with the doors.

The trains are printed on their sides, which can cause "stepping", which refers to the visible print layers. After printing, the trains are polished in a tumbler with ceramic stones. This makes many of these layers almost invisible. Unfortunately, they still remain visible in certain places, especially on the roof where the stones can hardly reach.
